Dakota's tail flew viciously from side to side, and even in circles as Remy played with her for a few minutes, a small whimper erupted from her throat as he stopped to turn around and walk to the river and get a drink. It didn't make sense to her why others stopped playing for petty little matters like getting water, or maybe it was just her fault. She was a bit hyper now that she thought of it, she could run and play for hours on end without stopping. Her ears perked as she heard Remy's sudden howl for a mate, she cocked her head, being an alpha, she expected him to have a mate already. Whatever the matter, she looked from River to Tandom, neither one of them were moving from their positions. Dakota decided she would step forward, as Remy started to walk away, she followed behind him on the layer of snow covering the ground, her paws not making much of a noise they trailed through the forest. As Remy stopped by a fat tree to rest, she padded in front of him where he could see her. She simply gave her tail a short wag.

I WANNA BE WILD [shadow=black,left,300]{ I wanna set free } [/shadow]I WANNA GO CRAZY, THAT'S JUST ME!
Remy noticed Dakota as she came in to the forest where he was sitting. He eyed her with confusion, wouldn't she rather be with the females instead of himself? He looked down at her "You followed me?" he asked curiously, wondering why she did. Remy slid his tail around the floor of the tree, his tail acting as a broom, sweeping away dead leaves that covered the hollowed area.
Remy wondered what Tandom and River were doing. Wouldn't they have followed after Dakota? Didn't they wanna talk to her? Remy knew about River's problems with her past. She often got lost in her bad memories, which is why it made sense that River didn't follow Dakota, but what was Tandom doing? Remy let a small smile form on his muzzle as he knew Dakota noticed the way he howled back by the river. She had followed he because she needed a mate too.
Remy was slightly surprised that Dakota didn't have a mate, she had a great playful personality that would surely keep anyone busy. Was it really this hard for every wolf to find a mate? Or did everyone seriously not like Remy? He decided not to worry about it, and focus on the moment.

Dakota ears flicked as he spoke, "Well, you did use a howl that's used for calling a mate back there." She slightly tilted her head and smiled, she wondered why Remy howled like that if he wasn't really looking for a mate. She wasn't really interested in males before, but the howl triggered her. Besides, Remy was good-looking, at least in her eyes if the other females didn't think so. She sat down, a loud sound reached her bat shaped ears, she looked up at the darkening sky, it was just a flock of what she called, sky birds. She turned her head back to Remy. He was smiling, a familiar sight from when they were playing together, she was focused on the bright smile on his face as they did so, that was another thing she liked about him. She gave him a quick smile back and looked down at her paws, she realized an alpha like him probably would never want to be her mate if no other males did, she looked to her right. Most forest creatures were getting ready for another night in the woods, a few snowflakes landed on her grey mixed pelt, her tongue quickly rolled out of her muzzle and licked them off. Looking back at Remy, she expected him to laugh at her for making such a dumb mate request, he obviously meant the mate call for River or Tandom, not for her.

TANDOM [/color] LIVE LIKE YOU MEAN IT[/color][/center][/font] Tandom leaned over the river lapping up cool water. It felt good on her throut as it ran down it. Lapping up more water she licked her lips lifting her head from the water hearing Remy howl. Tandom knew it was just for jokes, but Tandom kinda liked him. They where suposed to be mates, but she didn't know if Remy liked her back. Tandom wished he did though she did not it was the case. All Tandom wanted was a mate and pups, but withought a mate, that was not lickly to happen.
Then Tandom saw Remy go into the woods, and Dakota go in following him. Random felt a little jealous but knew that was a little rude, so she walked after then using her paws as snowshoes, it was easy since they where so big. Walking through the woods snow fell from the trees and onto Tandoms pelt. Shaking it she kept walking over to Dakota and Remy. She wasn't sure what to say so she just walked over to them smiling at Remy a little bit. Tandom wasn't normally a flirt but she couldn't help it with Remy, she liked him, a lot. [/blockquote]

River quietly watched, hearing Remy do the mate call. She knew he was just playing, but it still made that strong desire for a mate and pups spark inside her. She watched them for a moment, seeing Tandom walk towards him. River had once thought she liked Remy, but she had moved on from it. He and Tandom were supposed to be mates anyway, and she figured they probably would wind up that way.
Sighing, she stayed where she was. She knew Remy knew about her past, but thankfully, no one else seemed to. She didn't walk over to the others, afraid of intruding. Besides, it was just one of those days. But that longing desire wouldn't go away. She wanted to find a mate, and have a family, but who wanted a mate who was still plagued by some past memory? Not that she was feeling sorry for herself. If she didn't get a mate, she didn't get a mate. It was as simple as that. She watched the three other wolves for a moment, finally deciding it would be best if she slipped off. Tandom and Dakota were obviously flirting with Remy, and she didn't want to ruin their happy mood with her sad one.
But what was wrong with her? One minute she was fine, the next looking like the world had just ended. "Get ahold of yourself River! This is ridiculous! It happened moons ago!!" She snapped quietly at herself. Why couldn't she seem to just move on? No, she knew why. It was because those wolves were still out there. And she had vowed to make them pay. She looked up towards the mountain, towards her old home. They were up there somewhere. And one day, she would find them.

I WANNA BE WILD [shadow=black,left,300]{ I wanna set free } [/shadow]I WANNA GO CRAZY, THAT'S JUST ME!
Remy was staring at Dakota as Tandom came in to the forest. Remy had to admit he was amused, he didn't think this many wolves had a thing for him. He felt terribly bad that he could only have one mate, and one mate only. Remy looked off in to the distance looking for River. Poor River. Why hadn't she come? Remy knew she didn't like him but still, wasn't being with other wolves better than being alone? He had a terrible ache in his stomach that told him to go look for River, to go make her feel better. To fill her needs. Remy shook the thought away, thinking that if she wanted him to talk to her she would have come to him, but she obviously didn't like him.
Remy looked at Tandom. Remy laughed, walking slowly deeper into the forest, looking back at the other females to through smiles at them. He let his tail brush along trees that he past, slowly going deeper in to the forest. "You know, I must ask, why have you both come?" Remy had a grin on his face. He stood tall, looking at the females who had given him mate requests, well he didn't know if Tandom had. He looked at Dakota, she was beautiful, but she wasn't in his pack, which meant if they became mates it would be forbidden.

River glanced back over at them, wondering she should go talk to him. As she watched Remy, an odd feeling rose within her, and she had a sinking feeling she knew what it was. He's taken River, she told herself. She thought she had gotten over Remy, but she apparently hadn't. "Oh, leave it be River. He's already taken." She muttered. Part of her wanted to go over to him, but she couldn't. She just couldn't. But she could at least talk to him, Tandom, and Dakota.
She stood there for a minute, trying to decide what to do. She did want to talk to them, to not be by herself, but a little voice told her not to. Still, she took a few steps forward, her eyes locked on Remy. He really was a rather handsome wolf, but she quickly pushed those thoughts aside. She had stop thinking about him! Dakota had already given him a mate request, Tandom probably would too. She started to continue walking closer to them, stepping deeper into the woods, but stopped, a look of indecision coming over her face. Maybe she shouldn't... Finally, she turned around, and headed back for the woods, stopping to look up at the mountain one more time. She couldn't interrup, not in the way she was feeling right now.
