A tall muscular female wolf strode through the forest. Her white pelt almost impossible to see at this stage of night. The wolf was Regret; not the nicest wolf in the world, but definitely very mysterious. Regret continued her night walk through the forest, looking for a place to sleep for the night. Regret never really slept, but more just lied down with her eyes closed, thinking of all her memories; good, and bad.
Regret was a loner, she liked being a loner. Well, actually she loved being a loner. It was easier for her to make as few friendships as possible than for her to become a part of a pack. Regret didn't like being ordered to do things, nor did she like being 'looked down' upon. Regret was running now, sniffing the air as she went.
It wasn't long before Regret came across a rather large hole leading under ground. Without hesitation Regret walked deeper and deeper into the hole, realizing it was a tunnel. Regret had heard about these tunnels before, she could never remember the name. She strode over to a corner of the tunnel and made a bed for herself. It wasn't long before Regret finished with making her bed. She laid ontop of it, resting her head in her paws.

A grey wolf slipped through the trees, her paws silent on the ground. Her ears were alert, her eyes taking in everything around her. She was part of the Agonia pack, one of their loyal pack members. And she liked being apart of it. Loner life had never sounded good to her. She hated being alone, loved running with her pack members, hunting with them, fighting with them. She couldn't imagine being a loner. And the leaders of it were good ones. They weren't like some who looked down on their members, barked orders at them, almost treated them like slaves. Remy and Tandom were good leaders, and led the pack well.
River was headed towards the tunnels, a place she often went to. No one knew how they had been created. They had been here for as long as anyone could remember. She entered the hold, her nose picking up another's wolf scent. It was recent, and she didn't recognize it. It certainly wasn't a wolf from her pack, and it didn't smell like any of the other packs either. While each wolf had their own distinct scent, each pack had their own as well.
She didn't know if the wolf was friendly or not, and as she followed the scent, she had her claws out just in case. She continued following it till she found the wolf, a female. She had made a nest for herself, and was lying on it. "Who are you?" River asked cautiously, still not knowing if she was friendly or not.

THERE IS NO WAY• there is someone like me •WHO IS MESSED UP AND CRAZY Regret was relaxed, her eyes getting heavy and beginning to slide shut. She began to hear the pounding of paws on the ground, but she dismissed it because of how tired she was. When Regret heard the voice of the female she shot up from her bed, looking the female in her eyes. "I'm Regret" she barked bitterly. Regret was tired and in no such mood to fight, so she just sat on the floor with a huff, casting her head downward.
Regret picked up her head, looking at the female. "Who are you?" she asked quietly. The female didn't look like she would hurt Regret, but wolves these days could be tricky to figure out. Regret heard the patter of mice running throught the tunnel, Regret flared the nostriles of her muzzle, watching the mice and growing hungry by them minute. One mouse got close to Regret, Regret trapped it by putting her paw on it's tail. The poor little mouse squeeking in protest. Regret killed the mouse with a slash of her paw, then Regret worked quickly to strip it of the little bit of meat it had on it's bones, gulping it down. It barely to any time at all for Regret to finish the mouse so she returned her gaze to the female.

The female leapt to her paws, and gave a short bark. "Calm down already. I'm not going to hurt you unless you show signs of aggression." River mewed. Regret didn't seem to be hostile, but River was always on alert. "I'm River, member of the Agonia pack." She sat down, ignoring the mice that scuttled around her. Her pack had made a big kill a couple days ago, so she woudn't need to eat for a while. "I come here often, and I've never seen anyone else down here, so I was just wondering what you were doing here." She mewed, then listened for a moment.
She thought she had heard a scutting down in the tunnel, and she was tempted to ignore it, but no, she really need to investigate. "Be right back." She disappeared for a moment, her nose sniffing the air. She came back a moment later. "Just a squirrel, but you can never be sure." She said, sitting down again, and curling her tail over her paws.
