River slipped through the trees, her paws silent on the ground. Usually, she looked pretty friendly and happy, but not today. Today, her face looked more serious, not exactly sad, but not happy either. Lately, she had just been wondering if her wish would ever come true.
If there was one thing she wanted more than anything else, it was to have a mate a cubs. A mate who would love her, hunt with her, stay by her side. And cubs, oh, how she longed for them! Cubs to nurture, to hold, to play with, to cuddle. A family. Ever since her own family had been killed, River had longed for another one. To fill that place that had been empty for so many moons. But males never seemed to look her way. And she was beginning to wonder if she'd ever find a family.
And if she didn't, well, she'd manage. She still had her pack, and her friends. She had gotten through other things, she'd get through this. Somehow.
Shaking the thoughts aside, she continued walking, her eyes looking a little forlorn.

HonoviAT LEAST ACT LINE YOU LOVE ME A large Tibetan Wolf walked through the woods. His tail brushed the ground as he walked. Snow clung to his pale golden pelt helping him blend with the ground and snow around him. His musles rippled under his thick soft pelt. His large paws sunk into the snow and hit the ground as he walked hearing the crunch of snow under his pads. He lifted his nose to the air letting the dents of the forest overwhelm him. He could smell another wolf. It was firmilire to him but he couldn't put a name to it. It smelled of Agônia. The pack he had lived in for two years. The pack still had not complitly trusted him yet, but he hopped they would soon.
The wolf disided to follow the sent and see where it led him. It smelled like a she-wolf. Heading in her direction the wolf walked over the snow past leafless trees and bushes. Some clung to his pelt as he walked pulling his fur. The sent was getting stronger in his nose as he walked closer and closer. Soon he could hear footsteps and the crunch of snow under her paws. He saw her then. Walking to her he breathed. He wasn't good at talking, to anyone. He had grown up alone and never had chances to talk. "Hello" He disided to say. Really Honovi Hello, he thought to himself.

River shook the snow from her pelt, shivering slightly. The cold usually didn't bother her, but it was today for some reason. She continued walking, the snow crunching a little under her feet. Her senses were always on alert. She sniffed the air, her ears also listening for any other sounds. A scent drifted towards her. A member of her pack, it smelled like. It took her a moment to recognize who it was, but then it her, Honovi, one of the males.
She spotted him walking towards her, and he said hello. She knew many of her pack didn't completly trust him, but River did. She saw no reason not to. He was a loyal pack member, a valuable member of the pack. She knew he had grown up alone, and River had too. She knew what it was like to be a loner. "Hi Honovi." She said with a smile. "What brings you to this part of the forest?" She asked.

HonoviAT LEAST ACT LINE YOU LOVE ME Honovi smiled at River. Know he knew who she was. At first he could not figure it out but he knew now it was River, another member of the Agônia pack. Honovi did not now her well, but he wanted to. They had bolth grown up alone and withough anyone to look out for then. She asked him what he was doing in this part of tge woods. "Ow...... Um...... Just walking" Honovi told her "You?" he asked curiously. He tended to get up in others bisnuss withought meaning to, but he couldn't help it, he was social dispute being alone for so long, even if he had no idea how to talk to others, expetualy she-wolves.
He tried his best to talk in a good way but most of the time it would come out wrong. Expetually when he was nurvice. Though he tried to keep his cool as best he could. Then Honovi noticed that River was shivering slightly. He got closer brushing his thick soft coat with her's. Hoping to warm her up a little bit. Honovi hopped that she wouldn't take this aquardly but did it anyway, wondering if it warmed her at least some.

River listened, not paying any attention to his sort of stumbling over the words. She had been that way for a while, since hadn't talked to anyone in ages, but she eventually got over it, and was generally social. "Yeah, same here. Not much to do today, so I thought I'd just take a walk." She knew very little about Honovi, but she hoped to get to know him. He didn't seem to have a lot of friends, though he was pretty social.
He moved closer to her, probably noticing she'd shivered a little. The extra warmth really did help, and he seemed a bit nervous about doing it, as thought he was worried it would be awkward. But she was good at breaking a tense mood. Usually. She smiled, a grateful expression on her face. "Thanks. The cold usually doesn't bother me, but the wind seems to be particulary brisk today."

HonoviAT LEAST ACT LINE YOU LOVE ME Honovi nodded lissoning to her every word. He hadn't talked to anyone in a while and wasn't sure exactly what to say in reply to it. "Ya, walking sometimes helps me relax and i just sorta do it when there's nothing else to do" he told her still brushing his pelt against her still feeling slightly aquard about it. "And there's a lot of it to walk" Honovi continued. His tail brushed the ground collecting snow on tge tip shaking it of but it just collected more from the ground again. His fur was very thick and it tended to collect more snow then other wolves pelts did.
Then Honovi heard her say thanks. Happy that it wasn't very aquard for River he relaxed a bit. "You're welcome" he said. It was colder thus day then most. The cold didn't normally bother Honovi ether his pelt was to thick. It kept out the cold easily. It was not like this in the summed though, in the summer he shed tge undercoat and left the top coat so he was not to hot. Nodding he said "Ya it is cool today, colder then the past couple of day anyway." Honovi was glad that it had warmed her a little bit and that she wasn't that cold anymore.

"Yeah, same here. Just walking through the trees, the wind blowing gently, snow falling on the ground, it's so quiet and nice." She listened to him, and nodded. "Yeah, there's so many areas to explore, and wander through. I never got bored of it, and it's always exciting to find a new area." Snow was beginning to gather on her pelt, and she stepped away from him for a moment to shake it off so she wouldn't get any on him. Brushing it all out, she stepped back closer.
She listened to what he was saying, and to what was around her. She glanced behind them for a moment, sniffing the air, thinking she had heard something, but hearing nor scenting nothing more, she turned back to Honovi. "The weather seems to be changing, each day getting colder. Maybe a storm is coming. We haven't had one for a while, so we're pretty near due for another one. It would probably be good if we caught a large piece of prey to last us a while, in case one does come. I remember the first winter I was in the pack, a huge snow storm came through. Thankfully we had recently caught a couple mooses, so we were good on food, because we were snowed in for days."

HonoviAT LEAST ACT LINE YOU LOVE ME Honovi nodded listening to everything River was saying. It was quite peaceful in the woods. "Yes it is nice and peaceful" Honovi agreed. As she stepped away, Honovi flicked some snow from his ears. Watching it fly of and land on the ground by his side. Then he turned his amber eyes back to River. Then more snow gathered on his back then he shook it of trying not to get it on River. Then waiting as she shook her pelt. Honovi slightly smiled as River pressed her pelt against his. Her pelt was warm and comforting to Honovi.
Honovi looked in the detection River was his ears upright and alert. He wondered what or if she had heard. Then turned his head back as River did but he was still alert, just in case there was something there. As he listened he nodded. It was getting colder and when it snowed the snow would get thicker and then the pack would not be able to hunt and get more food to feed themselves. "Yes we need to hunt so the pack can eat if the snow gets to thick to go and hunt" Honovi said nodding his head slightly in agrement.

River smiled, and pressed against him, grateful for the warmth. She noticed him look in the direction she had looked. "Just the wind I think. I guess I'm just always on alert, always listening. Comes from being a loner, and that...anyway, just an habit of mine." She said, her mind drifting back to that day for split second, before the memory faded away.
She twitched her ears a little to shake the snow off of them. "Yeah, and the snow's getting thicker." The snow was coming down even harder, making her even more cold. She loved snow, but not when it was piling on top of her pelt. "Let's walk or something. Staying here, we're just going to get colder and colder. And then we won't get so covered in snow." She started walking, her paws crunching on the ground, then glanced behind her to see if Honovi was following.

HonoviAT LEAST ACT LINE YOU LOVE ME Honovi smiled a little as River leaned closer to him. He was getting warmer and felt comftorbale and at home. By know snow on his pelt was melting from his furred warmth. It was seeping through his pelt and making it to his skin. Shivering slightly Honovi moved a little closer to River trieing to see if it would make him any warmer. He nodded "Ya probably" Honovi said in agreement. It probably was only that. The winds where beginning to pick up and howl through the trees. The sun was also beginning to set making the woods a frightening place but Honovi didn't mind at all. He had lived on his own for two years and had to just ignore the fear that it caused.
Then Honovi looked around, it was still a little light but not for much longer. Soon the sun would completely disappear and he and River would be completely in the dark. Nodding in agreement as River suggested walking a little. When River started to walk away Honovi shook his pelt. A little snow and water flew from it. Then he headed after River his paws sinking into the snow with a crunch. Catching up with River Honovi walked in pase with her, brushing his pelt with her's.
